The Adventures of Beca and Ray

Hey friends! 

     It has been a minute haha. I have been traveling like crazy and haven't had two minutes to rub together to sit and write this, but I wanted to share a blessing from this week with you all as well as some prayer requests. 

    About a week ago my AC quit working... not really a huge deal, but I've been down in Louisiana and the heat index has been around 105-115. Ray has not been loving the heat at all, needless to say. He hasn't been driving poorly, but has been getting awful gas mileage due to the excessive heat. 

    I had a meeting this past Sunday morning, but didn't have one for Sunday night, so I decided to drop in on a church in the area. I dropped into a church about 15 minutes away from the hotel I was staying at. The pastor saw me from the pulpit and asked me to come up and talk about my ministry, what a blessing! After the service, the missions committee voted to support me! God is so good! After the service, a family from the church offered to take me out to supper. We went out, somewhere along the line, my lack of AC came up in the conversation. The family talked to the pastor about it, and the church decided to cover the cost to have it repaired! Praise the Lord! 

    I am currently still down in Southern Louisiana and will be for the next week or so. I'll leave here and drive up to Maryland for a few days, before driving to NYC to drop of Ray and catch a flight to Brazil! I am so thankful that my mom will be able to fly down here to help me make the long 20ish hour drive back up north. I am looking forward to the time we will spend together :) 

    If you could all keep my upcoming trip to Brazil in prayer, I would really appreciate it. Also, I am dealing (again) with some issues around my license. If you could keep that situation in prayer, that would be great!
