But I don't understand.... So often in our Christian lives we find ourselves expressing, whether verbally or otherwise, the above-mentioned sentiment. Perhaps I am the only one who finds myself feeling this way, in which case this blog is written for myself. But I have a feeling I am not the only one who finds myself searching for logic or understanding in the circumstances of life. Alas, this is a sentiment common to man. We read through the Scriptures, our very human 'heroes' expressing moments of doubt or misunderstanding. Men whom we look up to to learn more about the God we serve. Yet they also experienced their moments of discouragement and fear. I think of the disciples on the Sea of Galilee braving the storm. They looked over and wondered how Jesus could possibly be sleeping at such a time as this. ...
