DR P. 1
Hello friends!
It has been an awesome start to my trip here in the Dominican Republic. I spent my first few days in the
capital, Santo Domingo, before heading up to the Northern part of the country, Nagua. I had the opportunity to have a small part of the 5th anniversary service for the “Iglesia Bautista Costa del Norte,” which is the church my family started while we were on the mission field. It was such a personal blessing to me to be present during their special service. My parents also were able to be there and have a part in it.
(There is a video linked on my FB page if you would like to see some footage from the day)

I had two special blessings on Sunday during the service. I had the opportunity to teach the teen Sunday school class. I shared my testimony and gave the gospel to a room of about 25 11-18 year olds. At the end of the class time, I had two raise their hands for salvation! What a blessing! I have not taught in Spanish in years, and it was a little more difficult for me, but God used it!
After the service, I also had the privilege to witness to a Brazilian young man in Portuguese! I definitely did not expect to run across any Brazilians in Nagua! He did not pray to be saved, but he did receive a clear gospel presentation. Pray with me that God would use the words spoken.
I am currently back in the capital for another week and a half before I return to the states and work to wrap up my deputation journey. It has been a super exciting time of life for me and I could not feel any more blessed of the Lord. HE has been so good and so gracious to me.
I know many of you are praying for me as well as for Ray as he has remained in the states alone, I thank you so much for your prayers, and to those of you who have reached out, it means so much to me.
Thank you for taking the time to keep up!
-Beca + Ray
