Prayer request

Hello!  It has been a long last few weeks if I am being totally honest with you. I have pretty much been sick for most of the last two weeks. I had the flu and then as I was getting over that I was hit with double ear infections. Lots of fun stuff all around. I really appreciate everyone who reached out to me and let me know they were praying for me. It really does mean so much. Being sick on the road is no fun. Praise the Lord I am on the mend now. I got some antibiotics for the ear infections and am feeling much better now.  I left SC today and made my way to TN near where BIMI is located. The reason I am down here this week is because I need to get my car stuff straightened out. Some of you may have heard the very long story about the complications with my license and car registration and all that. Basically, my license is in Indiana but my car is registered in Maryland. My car’s registration is going to expire soon and I needed them to be the same, but for some other reaso...

Our Caring Father

Hello!       I am finally back down south! I think if I could do all my traveling down here I would never leave. I am in South Carolina this week and next and then will be making my way down to LA and then back to Florida. WOO HOO! I am chasing the warm as fast as I can. The last few days in MD were bitter cold, I am much looking forward to some sunshine.       Beyond traveling, I wanted to share a blessing with you all. The last day of the conference I was in last week, I came down with the flu. I haven't had it too terribly, but fever, chills, cough and all that fun stuff. It went around the church and I happened to contract it. A few months ago, I was praying and thinking about what would happen and what would I do if I got sick and had to travel. Well, God answered that for me this week. One of the missionary families I was in the conference with last week, also 'happened' to be driving down to the Carolinas, just about an hour north of...

Trust Him more!

Happy January!  I have hit the ground running this year and am starting off with a packed out schedule! The Lord has been so good. I will be traveling full time until May. I have a trip down to Brazil and also to the DR in that time and cannot wait to see what all the Lord has planned for me this spring. I am currently in a conference in MD and am so enjoying my time here with some old friends as well as making some new ones. It is always so great to reconnect with people. Thank you to all who have faithfully prayed for ‘Ray.’ He is driving just fine, actually better than he was in December. ( I think sometimes I can tell when people pray harder 😂)  As I get things charged back up for this next ‘round’ of meetings, I have decided on a theme for myself  this year. A theme of trusting God. We all (or at least I do) struggle at some points, to trust our Heavenly Father. A thought that, when in perspective, is so ridiculous! If I look back on my life at the trials God ...

Looking ahead

The end of 2022 is drawing close. I look back in amazement at the last 12 months and stand amazed at everything that God has brought me to and through. Truly this year is one that I will never forget. This year I had the opportunity to teach and learned to love it. I graduated Bible college, I became a missionary and I started deputation. This year has brought many changes, and many opportunities for growth. I can see how the Lord has stretched me and taught me many needed lessons.  Looking forward to next year, I am so excited to continue deputation. I am still loving traveling the country and meeting new people all the time. I am anticipating starting 2023 at around 20-25% support. I am waiting to see how much of my promised support comes in. What an exciting time! My schedule for early next year is already filling up quickly, I will have the opportunity to go down to Brazil and then over to the DR in March, I am looking forward to taking a break then.  I know that sev...

Someplace warm and sunny

I arrived in Florida today!  I am so excited to be in the sunshine state for the next few weeks. I have never been a fan of being cold and planned on spending as much of this winter down south as possible. I had the opportunity to spend Thanksgiving in Georgia with some friends, but will be able to go home to my parents house for Christmas.  I want to thank everyone who has kept me (and Ray) in their prayers. I am feeling much better since my accident and Ray is running like a champ. I have been extremely busy these last few weeks but it is all starting to pay off as I see support start coming in. I am at 14% right now, but have several churches that have let me know that they will start supporting me in the coming year. God has been so good in keeping my schedule booked and in sending me prayer and financial supporters. I could not be more excited about this work He is doing! Thanks for keeping up! Beca (and Ray)

Our Providential God or Rays story

November 21      A date that will live in my mind forever, It is the day my life changed. The day of my car accident. It has been a year since that day and I can see how, in so many ways, I am better for it.       I was going back to school from work at around 8pm. I was so tired and was ready to get home and sleep. Even now, I look back and am not sure how it happened, I was coming up to a stoplight and was slowing down, and I think I feel asleep in just a second because the next thing I knew, I had run into the back of the car in front of me. I dont remember hearing the crash, I dont remember panicking, I just remember the chaos that would ensue. Ray (my car) was not drivable. I had to have him towed from the accident scene. Because I was in college and was broke, I had to put his repairs on credit since I couldn’t afford it.       When I got Ray back from the shop, I started the drive back to MD immediately. The semester was over...

Whats new?

Hello!  Holiday season is upon us and I am so excited for this year. This is my first Christmas as an aunt and I am excited to spoil my little niece!  I am currently in MD until this coming Monday and then I will be hitting the road full time again until Christmas Eve. I will be in GA, TN and FL for the rest of the year before making my way back up to MD for the holidays. I am so glad to be going south as winter seems to be coming in faster than I anticipated and cold is really not my favorite. I'll enjoy some warmth a little longer.  I have been able to be on the east coast for a few weeks now, and spend some time with family while I was at some meetings here. It has been so nice to slow down and get some rest, especially since I know I am getting ready to be crazy busy again.   I reached 14% support this month! God has been so good, I did not anticipate my support coming in so quickly but Praise the Lord! It has been so exciting to watch God move and wor...
