Our Caring Father

Hello!

I am finally back down south! I think if I could do all my traveling down here I would never leave. I am in South Carolina this week and next and then will be making my way down to LA and then back to Florida. WOO HOO! I am chasing the warm as fast as I can. The last few days in MD were bitter cold, I am much looking forward to some sunshine.

Beyond traveling, I wanted to share a blessing with you all. The last day of the conference I was in last week, I came down with the flu. I haven't had it too terribly, but fever, chills, cough and all that fun stuff. It went around the church and I happened to contract it. A few months ago, I was praying and thinking about what would happen and what would I do if I got sick and had to travel. Well, God answered that for me this week. One of the missionary families I was in the conference with last week, also 'happened' to be driving down to the Carolinas, just about an hour north of where I would be going. It didn't cross my mind to ask them, but they noticed I wasn't feeling well and offered to help me make the drive. I was more that happy to accept the offer. The missionary wife drove Ray, and I sat in the front seat with a fever and slept most of that 10 hour drive. Praise the Lord! I really did not want to make any cancellations, and needed to get down the road, and God knew exactly that. I am so thankful for such a caring Heavenly Father, who truly knows our needs and provides for us.

It is such an awesome thought, that while I had no idea what I would have chosen to do in that situation, God already had people in place to help me. There was nothing I could have done to orchestrate this family going where I was. I had never met them before. But God... He truly is aware of our future needs and has everything already taken care of.

If you would keep me in your prayers, I am still not quite feeling back to 100% and am certainly ready to not be sick anymore.

Thank you so much for your prayers and for keeping up with me!
