Graduation!

Image
It is finished!  Three and a half years, about $40k, and a whole slew of memories later, I finally graduated college! If I had to summarize my college life, I’m not sure I could do it. God taught me so much about myself, life and people. I am so grateful for the opportunity I had to attend Hyles-Anderson college. I met so many wonderful people, who’s friendships will last a lifetime. I would be the first person to say that college is HARD, but oh so worth it. Standing here, on the other side of what felt like forever, I can see how, through each hardship, trial, and storm, God was right there through it all. Every step of the way. Never have I felt more loved by Him or those around me, than I do right now. Thank you to everyone who made my college experience memorable!

God is Faithful!

Good morning!      I am just coming off a wonderful weekend in the Lord’s house and how full of blessings it was! I had a three day weekend this week how refreshing that always is. On Friday, I took the opportunity to drive myself and my brother, Steven, up to Fort Wayne. We got lunch, had coffee, and spent some time walking around the mall. It was a much needed day off. On Saturday, we had bus meeting and went soul-winning and visiting in the morning. I have seen results from meeting families of bus riders or friends of theirs, but I have always struggled knocking on stranger’s doors and seeing someone respond to t...

God answers prayer!

The week after spring break always seems to be the longest of the school year, for both the students and teachers alike. And yet, here we are, we have survived! Haha, honestly this week was not actually that bad. While I was in MD, I was able to take my senior pictures and have my graduation announcements printed. It feels so weird to me to be graduating college… makes me feel old I guess. But Praise the Lord I got those done, I’ve been needing to do that for a while.       I have several praises from this week, first, that our drive back from Maryland went smoothly. I was a little nervous driving back, through the mountains and snow ( it snowed the entire way back), but God kept us safe, and kept us from breaking down. We got back in just over 12 hours. So not a huge road trip, but we were very ready to be out of the car when we got here. The second thing, which is a huge answer to prayer, the March portion of my deposit for my trip came i...
